Starry, starry night!

Just wanted to show you these lovely nail polishes. I put a layer of the Maybelline nr. 650 "Midnight Blue" on first and then added a layer of Deborah Lippmann's "Boom Boom Pow". Just love how it makes my nails look like a dark blue sky, filled with little stars! It's classy but girly at the same time, which fits my style perfectly. Definitely a good Autumn look, I think.

Mulberry Tillie Buckle Bracelet

Last December I was in Harrods in London, and I tried on the gold Tillie bracelet, but didn't really like it, because I thought the gold color made my skin looked even more pale. Then recently I stumbled across the bracelet in rose gold and instantly fell in love. I didn't buy it, because I was in a hurry that day, but then today I went shopping with my parents. We went into Mulberry, and my generous mother bought me the bracelet! I'm like the luckiest girl. And it matches my Diamond Sparkle Bayswater perfectly!

Isn't it cute?

Look of the Day + H&M

Today I stopped by H&M, which is a rare thing, last time I was in a H&M store was about 2 months ago I think. I don't buy a lot of H&M, because when I finally do find something I like, it usually doesn't fit me right or the quality just sucks. But I had a voucher, so I figured I'd take a look, and luckily so, because I found this lovely blouse, that I'm wearing in the picture. It doesn't look like much, but with the right accessories it looks really lovely!

I also got a few other things, things I usually run out off pretty quickly, like hair clips (seriously, where do they all disappear to?!) and applicators for eyeshadow. I really like the applicators from H&M, for the reason that they are very wide in one end and then very slim in the other, which makes them perfect for applying eye shadow under you're eyes. Also, I bought 4 little nail polishes in purple, pink, metallic blue and yellow. I don't normally buy nail polish from H&M, simply because they're often really watery and bad quality, but I just loved the metallic blue and the fact, that they are miniature, so I got them anyway. You'll need 3 coats before it looks good, but the colors are actually really nice.
And how adorable is that miniature nail kit?! When I saw it, I just knew I had to have it. So cute!

This is what they look like on..

Vogue Paris September 2011 Cover

Out of all the royal princesses, she is the prettiest! I am absolutely infatuated with Charlotte Casiraghi, she is just so beautiful, and has such a great sense of style.

She was photographed by the famous Mario Testino, who has shot everybody from Lady Gaga to Prince William and Kate.

I actually prefer the french Vogue over the american Vogue. The french Vogue, Emmanuelle Alt, always takes risks and tries new things, even if they know they are going to start a controversy. Like with the pictures of Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau, the 10 year old model who was photographed in high heels, make up and leopard print, as if she was a sexy young woman. Right or wrong, at least the photo spread started a debate!

Nuxe Aroma-Perfection review

Allright, when I first heard of Nuxe purifying lotion and cleansing gel, I must admit I was a bit sceptic. But when the lady in the shop, Salling, then told me, that she would give me her personal guarantee that it would work, and if it didn't, I could come back and get my money back, I figured, why not?!
I have an oily skin and tend to have rather large pores, and I have tried almost everything out there, and usually nothing really works for me. But after just 4 days of using the gel and the toner, I noticed that my skin seemed more balanced in color, and when a week had passed by, a lot of my little zits had disappeared. I have now used it for 12 days, and I must admit I'm impressed! My pores are just a little smaller, but there are no blackheads anymore, which was a big problem for me. I also used some samples of the day/night cream I was given and the mask in the series.

So for anybody with the same skin problems as me, I would definitely recommend it. I know it's a bit pricey, but if you could try to get the same deal I got, you should really give it a try. And then if it doesn't work for you, you can always get your money back.

Repeat offender

We all have certain accessories, we just can't live without. I know I do! For me these accessories are a must, 7 out of 10 day I wear them. It's not just that they are pretty and cool, it's the fact that they go with pretty much every outfit I wear, and I can just put them on and not have to be bothered with going through my jewelry case every morning, desperately trying to find something that matches with my clothes, while being perpetually late.

How about you, what are your favorite accessories?

On a random note

My parents came to visit me the other day, and my mother had bought me two orchids. It's hilarious, she always buys me orchids when they come to visit, never roses or wine, always orchids!
Anyway, just wanted to show you guys a photo I took (I'm getting better with the camera, hehe ), of one of the beautiful orchids. Don't know if it's just me, but when I'm surrounded by beautiful things, I automatically feel happier. And this orchid just made me happy.

Favorite summer bag

For the longest time, I've wanted a Mulberry Bayswater! I didn't get one because a. I couldn't decide wether to get it in the classic black or with the crocodile leather, and b. they are quite expensive. Then a month ago I was walking around town with a friend and in the Mulberry stores window I saw the bag. It was a sign - it was on sale, 30 % off! To me it is just as classic as the two others, because gold never goes out of style. So I bought it, and have been carrying it around since.

To me it is just the perfect summer bag, and I can fool myself into thinking it is a sensible buy, because my books and MacBook Air can fit into it, so it is also a perfect schoolbag, haha..

September, hurry up!

It's no secret that I'm a big Chanel fan, they just make the most extraordinary nail polishes out there! Last summer I was addicted to the nr. 307 "Orange Fizz", it's brilliant in the summer when you're a bit tanned. But as the tan wears off, I find it a bit too much, so a few weeks ago I got the nr. 511 "Pearl Drop", which looks great both on tanned skin and pale.

However, now I'm counting days, just waiting for September to come, because the Chanel Fall 2011 nail polishes will be in stores then! It's been possible to buy them online at Chanel.com, but I always like to see nail polishes "in the flesh", because sometimes the photos doesn't really capture the real color.

I'm in particular looking forward to trying "Peridot", it looks fierce!

I'm not sure if I'll buy "Graphite" though, because a friend of mine already has it, and it appears to look a lot like the nr. 555 "Silver" from Gosh, which I already have and love!

So, if anybody has fallen deeply in love with "Graphite", but thinks it's a bit out of their price range, I'd definitely recommend buying the Gosh nail polish.

Summer is ending..

Winter is getting closer and closer, and I find myself already missing the sunny summer days, and hating the rainy ones we have now. BUT, luckily for me, all it takes for me to feel summery again, is Essie's "Lovie Dowie" nail polish! It is my favorite summer nail polish, you just can't help but feel all giddy and happy when you look at it, or at least I can't.

And being quite the nail polish addict (you'll never find me not wearing nail polish), I thought I'd share a photo of my summer favorite with you, and ask which nail polish that has been your summer favorite?
